33 µF, 25 V, 65 mOhm ESR — the bulk decoupling fit
The 65 mOhm ESR is the key parameter for a bulk decoupling or output-filter application: it determines the ripple-current rating and the self-heating under load. At 25 V the voltage derating for a 50% safety margin (common practice on tantalum) leaves 12.5 V working — suitable for 12 V or 5 V rails with headroom.
-55 to 125 °C — full military temperature grade
The operating temperature range spans -55 to 125 °C, which is the military-grade band. This cap belongs on a board that sees the engine bay, the satellite bus, or the downhole tool — not a commercial appliance. The molded case and the 2917 (7343 Metric) footprint are standard for this class, but the temperature rating is what separates it from a commodity tantalum.
The product status is Active. The buyer can commit the BOM line without an immediate migration plan.
