Low ESR for power rail decoupling
2000-hour endurance at 125°C
Rated 2000 hours at 125°C with full DC voltage applied — that is the accelerated life test limit. In a 105°C ambient the derating curve stretches the useful life well beyond 2000 hours, but in an engine-bay ECU that sees 125°C for sustained periods, plan a replacement interval or move to a higher-temperature series.
Listed as Active with no NRND or EOL notice. The TPM series is a mature, widely used molded tantalum line; KYOCERA AVX continues to manufacture it.
