Temperature range and storage reality
It works in avionics, downhole instrumentation, or outdoor telecom enclosures where the ambient cycles beyond the commercial 0–70°C window. The molded construction and ±20% tolerance are standard for general-purpose tantalum — no special derating needed for most designs, but the 25 V rating should be derated by 50% (12.5 V working) for high-reliability applications per typical tantalum practice.
