Capacitance, voltage, and ESR at a glance
The TAJS475K004RNJ: 4.7 µF at 4 V with a 10 Ohm ESR — this is a general-purpose molded tantalum from the TAJ series, suited for decoupling and bulk storage on low-voltage rails where the ESR provides damping against ringing. The ±10 % tolerance is tight enough for timing and filter circuits, but the 10 Ohm ESR means the capacitor dissipates more heat than a low-ESR polymer part at the same ripple current — budget the I²R loss in the thermal calculation.
