ESR and its effect on the circuit
Equivalent series resistance is 25 ohms. At 0.33 µF, this ESR matters for ripple current — the capacitor self-heats under AC ripple, and the temperature rise is I² × ESR. For a low-frequency decoupling node (e.g., 50/60 Hz), the 25-ohm ESR is acceptable; for high-frequency bypass, a lower-ESR ceramic or polymer tantalum may be preferred.
