The TAJS224M035RNJ: This is a 0.22 µF molded tantalum capacitor in the TAJ series, rated 35 V with ±20% tolerance. The 18 Ohm max ESR sets the ripple current handling and self-heating — at 35 V and 0.22 µF, the capacitor's internal losses dominate the thermal rise, so the ESR figure is the design constraint for AC coupling or decoupling on a 35 V rail.
The 35 V rating provides derating margin on a 24 V or 28 V bus, keeping the applied voltage below 50% of rated at elevated temperature.
