Capacitance, voltage, and temperature grade
15 Ohm ESR at 100 kHz typical — this is on the high side for a 2.2 µF tantalum. In a low-impedance decoupling role (e.g., near a fast-switching digital IC), the ESR will limit ripple attenuation and may cause self-heating. Better suited to bulk storage or RC timing where series resistance is less critical.
0805 (2012 metric) case, size code R — 2.05 mm x 1.30 mm footprint, 1.20 mm seated height. Surface-mount reflow compatible; the molded body is not moisture-sensitive like some low-ESR polymer caps, so standard dry-packing is fine.
