What the series marking tells the buyer
The evidence lists the series as a placeholder (*) — the actual series identifier is printed on the capacitor body. For a BOM-fit check, read the series code from the part itself and cross-reference it against the KYOCERA AVX Specialty Capacitors family datasheet to confirm capacitance, voltage, and temperature range.
