The TAJR106M006SNJ: This is a 10 µF, 6.3 V rated tantalum capacitor in the molded TAJ series from KYOCERA AVX. The 6 Ohm ESR is the key number for decoupling: at 100 kHz switching frequency, that ESR limits ripple current to about 1 A RMS before self-heating becomes a concern — fine for a local bypass on a 5 V rail but tight for a bulk filter on a high-current supply. The ±20% tolerance is standard for tantalum; the actual capacitance at 6.3 V bias will sit 10-15% below the nominal 10 µF due to DC voltage derating, so budget 8-9 µF effective in your simulation.
That makes it a candidate for outdoor telecom cabinets, engine-bay electronics, or avionics LRUs where a standard 85°C tantalum would derate or fail above 85°C ambient. The 0805 case (2.05 mm x 1.30 mm footprint, 1.20 mm seated height) is small enough for dense PCBs but requires careful soldering profile — the molded body absorbs moisture slower than uncoated chips, so standard MSL handling applies.
