ESR and filtering fit
800 mOhm ESR at 100 kHz is the ripple-current ceiling — for a 10 µF output cap on a 500 kHz buck converter, that ESR limits the output ripple to roughly 40 mV at 100 mA ripple current. If your design needs lower ripple, a polymer or multi-layer ceramic cap in parallel is the common fix, but this part's ESR is typical for a 50 V molded tantalum in the 2917 case.
No immediate allocation risk, but tantalum supply can tighten on short notice; confirming availability at RFQ is the standard step.
