33 µF at 16 V — bulk decoupling for a 16 V rail
The TAJD336M016RNJ: This is a 33 µF tantalum capacitor rated for 16 V continuous, in the molded D case (2917 footprint). The 900 mOhm ESR sets the ripple-current ceiling: at 16 V and 33 µF, the self-heating from ripple current stays manageable below ~1 A RMS, but the ESR also limits the capacitor's ability to absorb fast transients — a switching regulator output will see the ESR dominate the impedance at frequencies above the capacitor's self-resonant point.
The molded construction and the TAJ series' general-purpose designation mean it is a standard off-the-shelf part, not a special hi-rel screening — but the temperature grade alone qualifies it for many military and industrial BOMs.
The product status is Active.
