Molded tantalum — fit and temperature grade
The molded epoxy case gives consistent dimensions and good moisture resistance compared to conformal-coated styles, which matters when the board sees conformal coating or wash cycles. The 33 µF capacitance at 10 V is a common bulk-decoupling value for 3.3 V and 5 V rails in those environments.
Active lifecycle status — KYOCERA AVX continues production of this order code. The ±10% tolerance is the standard precision grade for this series — adequate for bypass and bulk storage; for timing or filter circuits, a tighter tolerance variant would be specified.
