The TAJD226M016HNJ: Rated for 2000 hours at 125°C, this TAJ-series molded tantalum capacitor is specced for sustained high-temperature operation — think power supply outputs near hot MOSFETs, engine-bay electronics, or industrial control modules where ambient hits the upper end of the -55°C to 125°C range. The 1.1 ohm ESR at 100 kHz sets the ripple current handling: at 125°C, the capacitor's self-heating from ripple adds to the ambient, so the 2000-hour lifetime assumes the internal temperature stays within the rated limit. For a 22 µF part in a 2917 case, this ESR is typical for general-purpose tantalum — not a low-ESR type for high-frequency decoupling, but adequate for bulk storage and output filtering.
