Rated for 2000 hours at 125 °C and an operating range of -55 to 125 °C. That 2000-hour figure is the endurance at max temp — in a 70 °C ambient, the cap lasts much longer, but in an engine bay or near a hot regulator, the scorch mark tells you this is the part that may have dried out. The molded case and surface-mount 2917 footprint (7.30 mm x 4.30 mm, 3.10 mm seated height) make it a drop-in for most general-purpose tantalum positions on a board.
