The 1.3 Ohm ESR drives ripple current handling and self-heating. The 2312 (6032 Metric) case measures 6.00 mm x 3.20 mm with a seated height of 2.80 mm, fitting into standard surface-mount footprints without special pad geometry.
That means it can sit on an avionics power bus exposed to cold-soak and still start up, or run in an engine-bay ECU at high ambient with margin. The molded case construction resists moisture ingress better than conformally-coated chips in high-humidity environments.
