On a 12 V supply rail the 16 V rating provides 33 % voltage margin — enough headroom for typical 5 % transients without derating the capacitor below its rated voltage. The molded case (Type Molded) is the standard TAJ series construction for surface-mount tantalum.
The capacitance change with temperature follows the typical tantalum curve — stable within ±10 % across most of the band.
Package is 2312 (6032 Metric) with body dimensions 6.00 mm × 3.20 mm and seated height 2.80 mm max — manufacturer size code C. The land pattern follows the standard 6032 footprint; the 2.80 mm height clears most 1.6 mm PCB assemblies with conformal coating.
