The TAJC475K020H: Rated 4.7 µF at 20 V with 1.4 Ω max ESR, this TAJ-series molded tantalum is sized for bulk decoupling on a 12 V or 5 V rail where the DC bias derating of MLCCs would eat the capacitance. The 1.4 Ω ESR damps the self-resonant peak, so it won't ring with a low-impedance supply — a common gotcha when swapping a ceramic for a tantalum without checking the ESR budget.
