What this TAJ tantalum does on your board
The TAJC336M010RNJ: This is a molded tantalum capacitor from the TAJ series, rated 33 µF at 10 V with ±20% tolerance and a 1.6 Ohm ESR. The 1.6 Ohm ESR is the series resistance that limits ripple current and self-heating. In a 10 V rail, this cap can handle a few hundred mA of ripple before the internal temperature rise eats into the 125 °C ceiling.
The 2312 metric case (6.00 x 3.20 mm footprint, 2.80 mm seated height) is a common tantalum size. The molded body has a clear polarity mark — the anode end is usually bevelled or has a stripe. Under a hot-air station, the 2312 case reflows cleanly with a standard 245 °C profile; the thermal mass is low enough that you won't cook the board.
