The TAJC226M010RNJ: The 1.8 Ohm ESR sets the ripple current ceiling and the self-heating under AC load — for a 100 kHz buck output, the ripple voltage across this cap is 1.8 Ohm times the inductor ripple current, so the output ripple stays predictable without an additional low-ESR ceramic in parallel. Rated from -55 to +125 °C, the cap holds its full rated voltage across the military temperature band — no voltage derating needed for an avionics or downhole board that sees -40 °C cold soak or 105 °C ambient.
Case C footprint and board fit
Package is 2312 (6032 metric), size code C — 6.00 mm × 3.20 mm footprint with a seated height of 2.80 mm max. The molded case has no exposed metal on the sides, so adjacent caps can sit at the standard 0.5 mm clearance without shorting risk.
