150 µF on a 10 V rail — what the ESR tells you
That ESR number is the one that matters most for a bulk decoupling or output filter cap: at 100 kHz ripple, 900 mOhm means about 150 mA of ripple current before self-heating starts to eat into the 125°C ceiling. If your rail is switching at 500 kHz, the ESR limit is the same — the cap doesn't care about frequency until the dielectric losses kick in above 1 MHz.
