Bulk decoupling on a 24 V rail
The TAJC156K035RNJ is a 15 µF ±10% molded tantalum capacitor rated for 35 V DC. At 35 V, it sits comfortably on a 24 V industrial bus with 10 V of headroom — enough to absorb transients from inductive loads without derating concerns. The 1.4 Ohm ESR is typical for a C-case tantalum at this voltage and capacitance; it limits ripple current to roughly 0.5 A at 100 kHz, which is adequate for output filtering on a 1–2 A buck converter.
