Molded tantalum, 1.5 µF at 50 V — TAJ series
The TAJC155K050SNJ is a molded tantalum capacitor from the TAJ series, rated 1.5 µF at 50 V with ±10% tolerance. It comes in a surface-mount 2312 (6032 Metric) package, size code C, and is supplied on tape and reel. The 4.5 Ohm ESR at 50 V sets the ripple current ceiling — for a given ripple current, the internal power dissipation is I² × 4.5 Ω. In a 50 V rail decoupling role, that ESR is acceptable for general-purpose filtering but limits use in high-ripple switching supplies where a lower-ESR tantalum or polymer would be needed. The molded case provides mechanical stability across the full temperature span.
