TAJB474K050RNJ is an active-production molded tantalum capacitor from the KYOCERA AVX TAJ series, rated 0.47 µF at 50 V with ±10% tolerance. The 9.5 Ohm ESR at 100 kHz sets the ripple-current ceiling — for a 50 V rail decoupling a DC-DC converter, the self-heating from ripple current stays within the 125°C limit as long as the RMS current is kept under the manufacturer's ripple-current derating curve.
The B case (1411 / 3528 Metric) measures 3.50 mm x 2.80 mm with a seated height of 2.10 mm max — a common footprint shared with other TAJ B-case parts, so a single PCB pad pattern covers multiple capacitance values in the same voltage family.
