Rated voltage and capacitance — the decoupling budget
The TAJB336K006YNJ: 33 µF at 6.3 V rated — this is a bulk-decoupling or hold-up capacitor for a 3.3 V or 5 V rail, not a 1.8 V core supply where the 6.3 V rating gives 3× margin. The 6.3 V rating is the DC working voltage at 85 °C; above that, derate per the TAJ series voltage-temperature curve. Molded case, ±10 % tolerance — the tight tolerance matters for timing circuits or filter poles where the cap value sets a corner frequency. For bulk decoupling the ±20 % sibling in the same series would pass, but the BOM calls ±10 %.
The molded case and 1411 (3528) footprint keep the ESR low enough for 125 °C operation without the leakage doubling that wet tantalums would show. Manufacturer size code B, seated height 2.10 mm max — fits standard 2.5 mm board-to-board clearance.
