Molded tantalum for harsh environments
For a 10 µF part, this ESR is typical of a standard tantalum; if your circuit needs lower impedance at high frequency, you would be looking at a polymer or MLCC alternative.
Housed in the 1411 (3528 Metric) / 1210 case with size code B — 3.50 mm x 2.80 mm footprint, 2.10 mm seated height. That is a two-terminal molded part with clear polarity marking (band on the positive end). Under the hot-air station, the thermal mass is low; it reflows cleanly with a standard lead-free profile. The molded body is tough enough to survive a rework cycle without cracking, unlike some conformal-coated tantalums that can develop hairline fractures from thermal shock.
