1 µF, 35 V — the two numbers that decide BOM fit
These two parameters are the first check against your circuit's bulk capacitance and rail voltage requirements — a 35 V rating gives headroom for a 24 V supply with margin for transients. The 6.5 Ohm ESR at 100 kHz is a meaningful constraint: for a 1 µF part, this ESR limits ripple current handling to roughly 70 mA RMS before self-heating becomes a concern. Use this part where the AC ripple component is low — output filtering of a low-noise LDO or coupling/decoupling in a signal path, not bulk decoupling on a switching regulator output.
Housed in a 1411 (3528 Metric) / 1210 case — 3.50 mm x 2.80 mm footprint with a seated height of 2.10 mm max.
