Molded tantalum in a 1206 footprint
The molded construction gives it a consistent, rectangular profile — no conformal-coat bulge — which makes pick-and-place and visual inspection straightforward on a production line. The 1206 (3216 Metric) case size is a common footprint, so swapping this into an existing pad layout usually works without a board spin. Tolerance is ±10% — tight enough for decoupling and bypass roles where the exact value matters less than the ESR range.
The TAJ series is a broad, mature line, so second-source equivalents from Kemet or Vishay with matching 0.68 µF, 20 V, 1206, ±10% are common cross-shop candidates.
