4.7 µF, 20 V, 4 Ohm ESR — 1206 molded tantalum
The TAJA475K020H is a molded tantalum capacitor from the TAJ series, rated 4.7 µF at 20 V with ±10% tolerance and 4 Ohm ESR in a 1206 (3216 Metric) surface-mount case. The 4 Ohm ESR sets the ripple-current capability and self-heating limit — for a 20 V rail with 100 mV ripple, the capacitor dissipates roughly 2.5 mW, well within the 125°C ceiling.
The molded case and standard tantalum construction keep the capacitance stable across temperature; no voltage derating is required at 85°C, but at 125°C the applied voltage should be derated per the manufacturer's application note.
