Capacitance, voltage, and ESR — the BOM-fit numbers
The TAJA474K025K: This is a 0.47 µF tantalum capacitor rated at 25 V with ±10% tolerance — the capacitance and voltage rating are the first check against the BOM line. The 14 Ohm ESR (equivalent series resistance) matters for ripple current handling in power-supply decoupling; a higher ESR means more self-heating under AC ripple, so confirm the ripple current budget in your circuit.
The molded case in a 1206 package (3.20mm x 1.60mm) keeps a low profile at 1.80mm seated height — fits tight PCB layouts.
No direct replacement or second-source is documented, but the TAJ series includes many capacitance/voltage variants in the same 1206 footprint if the BOM allows a value change.
