The TAJA335K020SNJ is a molded tantalum capacitor from the KYOCERA AVX TAJ series, rated at 3.3 µF with ±10% tolerance and a 20 V working voltage. The 1206 (3216 Metric) surface-mount package with A-size code (3.20mm x 1.60mm footprint, 1.80mm seated height) fits standard pick-and-place assembly and reflow profiles. For a 1 A ripple current, the internal dissipation is 4.5 W, so the capacitor's temperature rise must be checked against the 125°C ceiling.
The molded case provides mechanical stability and moisture resistance compared to conformally-coated tantalum chips.
