Automotive-grade tantalum for high-temp decoupling
The TAJA226M010UNJ is a molded tantalum capacitor from the TAJ series, rated 22 µF at 10 V with ±20% tolerance. Its AEC-Q200 qualification and 2000-hour lifetime at 125°C make it a fit for under-hood electronics, engine control modules, and transmission sensors where the ambient temperature regularly exceeds 105°C. The 3 Ohm ESR at 100 kHz is the figure to budget for ripple current derating — at 125°C the ripple current limit drops, so verify the AC load against the datasheet derating curve.

The 1206 (3216 Metric) case with size code A measures 3.20 mm x 1.60 mm, seated height 1.80 mm max.
No pin-compatible second source is documented, but the TAJ series includes multiple capacitance/voltage variants in the same 1206 case if the BOM requires a different value.
