Equivalent series resistance is 6.5 Ohm typical at 100 kHz. For a 2.2 µF capacitor on a 500 kHz buck converter output, this ESR contributes roughly 13 mV of ripple voltage at 200 mA ripple current — acceptable for most logic rails but worth checking against the load's ripple sensitivity. A cold-crank environment at -40°C or a hot engine bay at 110°C stays within the rated window without derating the voltage.
Store the reels in a dry environment per the manufacturer's moisture sensitivity level — tantalum molded caps are generally MSL 1, but verify the reel label for bake requirements if the seal is broken.
