The TAJA107M004RNJ is a molded tantalum capacitor from the TAJ series, delivering 100 µF at 4 V in a surface-mount 1206 case. The 1.4 Ohm ESR sets the ripple-current handling and the self-heating under AC load — for a low-voltage rail at 100 kHz, the ESR dominates the impedance, not the capacitive reactance.
It fits avionics power buses, downhole sensor modules, and outdoor telecom line cards where the ambient swings beyond the commercial envelope. The molded case and ±20% tolerance are standard for bulk tantalum in these environments.
