It is rated for a peak pulse power of 600 W (10/1000 µs waveform) and a clamping voltage of 227 V at the peak pulse current of 2.65 A. The 140 V reverse standoff voltage means it starts conducting only above that level, so it sits quietly on a 140 V bus and only shunts energy when a spike exceeds the threshold. The 155 V minimum breakdown voltage gives a narrow guard band before clamping engages.
The body is large enough to see the cathode band clearly — no guessing pin 1. The SMB footprint is common; the pad layout matches many standard TVS diodes in the same case size. The wide temp span means derating for ambient heat is less aggressive than with narrower-range parts.
