Molded 22 µF capacitor for 6.3 V rails
The F380J226MMAAH3 is a 22 µF, 6.3 V molded tantalum capacitor in the F38 series from KYOCERA AVX, housed in a 0603 (1608 Metric) surface-mount package. The molded construction gives it a defined outline and consistent height (0.90 mm max seated), which helps with pick-and-place and clearance in tight board stacks. Rated operating temperature spans -55°C to 105°C, with a lifetime of 1000 hours at 85°C — typical for tantalum capacitors in this class.
ESR and frequency response at 100 kHz
ESR is specified at 300 mOhm at 100 kHz — this is the value to use when estimating ripple current handling and self-heating in a switching regulator output filter. At lower frequencies ESR will be higher; the 100 kHz point aligns with typical SMPS switching frequencies.
