The F380J107MSALZT is a molded tantalum capacitor from KYOCERA AVX's F38 series, packing 100 µF at 6.3 V into an 0805 (2012 Metric) surface-mount case. The molded construction gives it a defined outline and flat top, which helps with pick-and-place alignment and visual inspection after reflow — a practical advantage over conformal-coated chips that can look ambiguous under the microscope. Rated across -55°C to 105°C with 1000 hours endurance at 85°C, it's suited for decoupling and bulk storage in portable and space-constrained designs where board height is tight — the seated height maxes out at 0.90 mm.
