Automotive power rail management in a 150°C envelope
The TLE8888QKXUMA1 is an automotive power-management IC from Infineon, classified under the Microcontrollers & Processors category but functionally a system power-rail sequencer and regulator. Its 4V to 28V supply range covers the full automotive battery voltage window — from a cold-crank dip below 6V to a 24V jump-start or load-dump transient — without needing an external pre-regulator. The 150°C junction ceiling means the IC can share a heatsink with a hot processor or power stage without derating the output current. The 100-LQFP Exposed Pad package (PG-LQFP-100-12) routes the main thermal path through the centre pad.
Active production with full compliance traceability
ROHS3 compliant with no exempt substances, the part ships in a lead-free finish that passes the 260°C reflow profile. The Tape & Reel packaging supports high-volume pick-and-place assembly; Cut Tape options are also available for prototyping or lower-volume builds. The Automotive grade designation implies AEC-Q100 qualification — the standard for automotive IC reliability, including temperature cycling, ESD sensitivity, and latch-up immunity per JEDEC JESD22.
