Active production, 133 MHz TriCore with 1 MB on-chip flash
The TC222S16F133FACKXUMA1 is an active Infineon AURIX series MCU built around a 32-bit single-core TriCore processor running at 133 MHz, with 1 MB of program Flash and 96K x 8 RAM on die. It also integrates 128K x 8 of EEPROM, which is useful for calibration and parameter storage without an external serial memory chip.
Memory and connectivity for a control-oriented BOM
The 1 MB Flash and 96 KB RAM give this part enough headroom for a real-time control stack with CAN, FlexRay, LIN, and QSPI interfaces — the connectivity set covers automotive body and powertrain domains. Fourteen 12-bit ADC channels are available for analog sensor inputs, and the DMA and watchdog peripherals handle data movement and fault monitoring without loading the core.
PG-TQFP-80-7 package — what to know for the board
Fifty-nine I/O are brought out, leaving the rest of the 80 pins for supply, ground, and the external oscillator. The exposed pad also provides a low-inductance ground return for the core and I/O rings.
