Peripherals and I/O — what is wired in
On the peripheral side, this MCU brings a Brown-out Detect/Reset, a POR (Power-On Reset), a PWM unit for driving small loads or generating variable-duty signals, and a Watchdog Timer for unsupervised operation. Connectivity runs through I²C, SSC (synchronous serial channel), and UART/USART — covering the common serial buses for temperature sensors, EEPROMs, or simple display modules.
Data conversion — 8-channel 10-bit ADC on board
An 8-channel, 10-bit analog-to-digital converter is integrated, letting the part sample analog signals like potentiometer positions, thermistor voltages, or current-sense resistor drops without an external ADC. The oscillator can be driven externally or from the internal oscillator block, reducing BOM count in cost-sensitive builds.
