1 Gbit density and 133 MHz quad-I/O throughput
The S70FL01GSAGMFI011: Organised as 128M x 8 bits, the 1 Gbit capacity stores both boot code and file-system data in a single chip — useful when a board has only one SPI NOR footprint and needs to hold a full Linux kernel plus a read-only rootfs. The SPI Quad I/O interface supports 133 MHz clock frequency, delivering a sustained read throughput of roughly 66 MB/s in quad-output mode. That is fast enough for a direct-XIP (execute-in-place) boot from NOR without copying the image to RAM first.
RoHS3 compliance and sourcing posture
Listed as ROHS3 Compliant — no exempt phthalates or lead — so it passes EU RoHS for new equipment placed on the market after July 2019. The tube packaging is the standard antistatic tube for 16-SOIC; no reel or tape requirement if your pick-and-place line feeds from tubes.
