It uses a parallel interface with a 100 ns access time, making it suitable for direct code execution (XiP) in embedded systems where the host controller reads instructions directly from Flash without copying to RAM. The 2.7V to 3.6V supply range covers standard 3.3V rails with headroom for transient dips.
