The S26KS256SDABHM030 is a 256 Mbit parallel NOR flash from Infineon's HyperFlash KS family, organized 32M x 8 and accessed through a HyperBus interface at 100 MHz clock rate. The 1.7 V supply rail lets it share the 1.8 V nominal core domain common on automotive MCUs and SoCs, eliminating a dedicated regulator for the flash bank. The 96 ns initial access time from standby covers the random-read latency for code fetch; once in page mode, the DDR HyperBus delivers 166 MB/s sustained read bandwidth.
