The S25FL256LDPNFN013 is a 256 Mbit (32M x 8) NOR Flash from Infineon's FL-L series, organized as a single 32Mbyte memory array accessed through a SPI Quad I/O and QPI interface at a clock frequency of 66 MHz.
Quad SPI throughput and supply tolerance
The Quad I/O interface at 66 MHz delivers a sustained read throughput of roughly 33 Mbyte/s in quad-read mode — enough to feed a Cortex-M based system without stalling the instruction bus.
