The S25FL064LABNFV010 is a 64 Mbit SPI NOR flash from Infineon's FL-L series, organized as 8M x 8 bits. It supports SPI, Quad I/O, and QPI interfaces at a clock frequency of 108 MHz, giving a sustained read throughput that keeps the host processor fed during XIP (eXecute-In-Place) operation. The 108 MHz quad-I/O interface means the flash can deliver data at up to 54 MB/s on a single quad lane — enough to stream boot code or firmware patches without stalling a Cortex-M or entry-level application processor.
Industrial temperature grade and package fit
The 105°C ceiling gives margin over the standard 85°C industrial grade for designs that run hot. The 0.9V tolerance on the upper end means it survives the overshoot on a 3.3V rail during load transients.
