Housed in an 8-UDFN exposed pad package (supplier device package 8-USON, 4x4 mm), the S25FL064LABNFM041 mounts on the PCB with a surface-mount footprint. The exposed pad under the package conducts heat to the board copper — for sustained quad-I/O reads at 108 MHz, the thermal path through the pad keeps the die temperature within the -40 to 125 °C operating window. The 4x4 mm USON body is compact enough for space-constrained designs like sensor modules or handheld instruments.
