108 MHz Quad SPI — what it means for read throughput
The 108 MHz clock rate applies to both standard SPI and Quad I/O modes. In Quad I/O, four data lines transfer four bits per clock cycle, giving an effective read throughput of 54 MB/s. This is enough for execute-in-place (XIP) firmware boot in most automotive ECUs without needing a separate DRAM cache.
Temperature range and AEC-Q100 grade
The AEC-Q100 qualification includes the required stress tests for under-hood and cabin electronics: extended temperature cycling, high-temperature operating life, and moisture sensitivity. No PPAP documentation is included in this listing, but the AEC-Q100 mark is the standard Tier-1 acceptance gate.
The pad is electrically connected to VSS.
