64 Mbit automotive NOR Flash with Quad SPI at 108 MHz
The part is organized as 8 M x 8 bits and comes in an 8-WFDFN exposed-pad package (8-WSON 5x6 mm) for surface-mount assembly. The operating temperature range covers -40°C to 105°C, so it handles the thermal cycling you see in engine bays and transmission controllers without derating.
The 108 MHz clock rate on the Quad SPI interface translates to a theoretical read throughput of about 54 MB/s in quad mode. That is enough to feed a high-end Cortex-M7 or an automotive gateway SoC without stalling the instruction prefetch. If you are sizing the OTA staging area, the 64 Mbit capacity (8 MB) holds a few full firmware images for a mid-range ECU, leaving room for a golden copy and a delta update.
The active lifecycle status means Infineon is still manufacturing it; there is no last-time-buy notice to plan around.
