Buyers should evaluate functionally equivalent full-bridge gate drivers from the same or alternate vendors.
600 V bootstrap and gate drive capability
This is a single-channel full-bridge gate driver designed for N-channel MOSFETs, with a high-side bootstrap supply rated to 600 V maximum. That 600 V rating defines the DC bus voltage ceiling for motor-drive and inverter stages where the high-side floating supply must ride the switching node. Peak output current is specified at 180 mA source and 260 mA sink. At a typical gate charge of 60 nC for a medium-power MOSFET, the 120 ns rise and 50 ns fall times (typical) keep switching losses manageable in the 20–100 kHz range.
Supply voltage range is 10 V to 15.6 V. The logic input thresholds are set at 4.7 V (VIL) and 9.3 V (VIH), which means a standard 5 V or 3.3 V microcontroller output will not reliably drive the RC input circuit directly — a level-shift or interface buffer is needed. Operating junction temperature range is -25°C to 125°C, covering most industrial and some automotive under-hood environments. The -25°C low end is a restriction for cold-crank or outdoor telecom applications that need -40°C operation.
Package and mounting — 14-SOIC
Housed in a 14-SOIC surface-mount package (0.154-inch body width, 3.90 mm), supplied in Tube. The SOIC-14 footprint is a standard, widely supported PCB land pattern with 1.27 mm pitch, suitable for reflow assembly.
