Motor commutation controller for appliance drives
The Infineon IRMCK343TR is a controller for AC synchronous motor commutation and direction management, part of the MCE™ series. It integrates a pre-driver configured as three half-bridge outputs — the standard topology for a three-phase inverter driving a permanent-magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) or brushless DC (BLDC) motor in appliance-class applications. Communication with a host microcontroller runs over I²C, RS-232, or SPI — the RS-232 port is unusual for a motor controller and suggests a legacy calibration or debug interface on the production line.
Dual supply rails — plan the BOM
The 64-LQFP package (10×10 mm body, 0.50 mm pitch) is a standard footprint for a controller of this complexity.
It is not qualified for under-hood automotive (125°C ambient) or extended industrial (105°C).
For a production BOM line, this part is a single-source risk. If the design is still in development, a pin-compatible or functionally equivalent alternative should be qualified before the current stock channel dries up.
