Motor controller for appliance three-phase drives
The Infineon IRMCF371TY is a commutation and direction-management controller from the MCE™ series, designed to drive AC synchronous motors in appliance applications. Its output stage is a pre-driver configured for three half-bridges, meaning it generates the six gate-drive signals needed for a three-phase inverter — no external commutation logic required.
Dual supply rails and interface set
That split is typical for mixed-signal motor controllers — the low-voltage core keeps digital power down, while the 3.3 V I/O talks directly to Hall sensors, current-sense amplifiers, and an external host over I²C, SPI, or RS-232.
That covers the ambient inside a sealed appliance enclosure — think washing-machine control boards or refrigerator compressor drives — but not under-hood automotive or extended hot-side environments.
